Appreciation, understanding and respect for the differences among us are the principles of my practice as an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor. I believe that therapy is about growth, self-discovery, liberation, and identifying resources as well as solutions in facing and overcoming life challenges.
Working with people from different walks of life has given me the opportunity to employ and develop a selection of therapeutic methods that are adjusted to my clients’ individual needs and circumstances. I work with a wide range of issues including:
- anxiety and depression
- loss and bereavement
- domestic violence
- relationships problems
In addition to private practice, I work as a bereavement counsellor for adults and adolescents in one of London’s NHS hospitals. I am also a volunteer counsellor for one of the largest substance misuse agencies in central London where for more than three years I have been working with clients overcoming alcohol and drug difficulties. I also have experience of working with individuals faced with domestic violence, depression and anxiety.
The therapeutic approaches I offer include person-centered therapy, CBT, solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, smoking cessation, hypnotherapy and relaxation techniques.
